Bride and Groom
Vancouver Helicopter Engagement || Wedding Photography Vancouver. It was a love of hiking and the great outdoors that brought Ashika and Ryan together. After hearing of Ryan’s hiking and climbing adventures around Vancouver, Ashika decided to contact him. She asked Ryan for information about one of the routes in particular. After a few email exchanges, the two eventually decided to meet up to go hiking. And the rest is history!
They got engaged in November while visiting their cabin near Manning Park. On a trail walk nearby, they came across a footbridge called Hannah’s Crossing. It was at that moment when Ryan tied Ashika’s family dog Skeena to the handrail and got down on one knee. Grinning ear to ear and through tears of joy, Ashika said YES to spending her life with her favourite adventuring partner.
Helicopter Engagement Session
Seeing as the mountains were what brought the two together, Ashika and Ryan decided that their engagement session could not take place anywhere else. However, the rainy weather the week before the session made the idea of a Vancouver Helicopter Engagement seem almost impossible. Despite these worries, Ashika and Ryan got lucky as the skies cleared up on the morning of their Vancouver Helicopter Engagement, giving them the perfect weather to head up the mountain.
Instead of hiking up, Ashika and Ryan decided to take a helicopter ride to the top, and the views of their Vancouver Helicopter Engagement were simply breathtaking. The snowy mountains peeking out through the clouds surrounded by sunshine and blue skies created the most beautiful backdrop for their shoot. You could see in their eyes and their body language that they were in their happy place. Being up in the mountains among the clouds—it was home. This is where they fell in love! It is here where they will live their new life together with many more hikes, climbs and adventures awaiting them.
