Jocelyn and Paul’s romance started online in the Big Apple. For their first date, they went bowling and quickly decided to line up another date. That same weekend, they were picnicking in Prospect Park in Brooklyn when a plane flew by spelling “Will you marry me?” A group nearby asked if it was for them, and they laughed saying it was their first date. But it definitely predicted the future!
Paul proposed at sunset on the beaches of Maui after his first plan didn’t pan out. He originally wanted to propose after a hike under a waterfall. However, they got turned and never made it.
About Squamish Engagement Session Photos
We photographed their Squamish Engagement Session two days before their wedding! Since they lived in New York, they came to Vancouver just a few days before their big day. They wanted something in nature and by the water, which was no problem seeing as British Columbia has it all! We took them to one of our favorite locations near Squamish which has amazing views of Howe Sound and the mountains.
The weather was gorgeous. We were very lucky! Jocelyn’s delicate white dress was beautiful against the backdrop of green, blue and lavender. They had such amazing chemistry and were so natural in front of the camera. It was an absolute pleasure to work with them and photograph their Squamish Engagement Session.
