Bride & Groom story
Intimate Vancouver Wedding. For Lesia and Daniel, their wedding day was a day where their relationship came full circle, in more ways than one… because their relationship started at a wedding too! After meeting at a friend’s wedding they started to hang out and over many long talks they found their relationship start to deepen and, as they say… the rest is history.
Like so many couples this year, Lesia and Daniel had to adjust their wedding plans at the last minute to fit within the restrictions that were imposed upon them due to Covid-19. However, even after completely re-imagining their wedding, these two managed to celebrate their Intimate Vancouver Wedding with so much style and grace.
Small Wedding in Vancouver
On the morning of the Intimate Vancouver Wedding, the bride and bridesmaids got ready in a stylish hotel room in Surrey. Lesia’s stunning two piece wedding dress was custom made just for her. And it wasn’t hard to tell, since it fit her like a dream! One unique element to the bridal party was that Lesia’s bridesmaids were all dressed in white gowns in a similar silhouette to the bride’s dress.
Meanwhile, Daniel and his groomsmen were getting ready in a nearby hotel room. Similar to the bridesmaids, the groomsmen dressed to match the groom. They were wearing suits that were all black. While some may worry that when the bridal party dresses in black and white, the bride and groom won’t stand out from the group. However, just one look at the photos from this wedding will show you that Lesia and Daniel were clearly the showstoppers! We loved the black and white bridal party look and thought it was a very elegant choice.
After getting ready, the two groups met in Queen Elizabeth Park. They had an emotional first look when Daniel saw his gorgeous bride in a wedding dress for the first time. Rather than spending much time taking the couple’s photos then, after a few bridal party photos, it was off to the church for the ceremony. Lesia and Daniel opted for a lengthy outdoor post-wedding photo session later at a beautiful location near Squamish.
Intimate Ceremony & Reception
Decor company transformed the church with elegant white drapery, gold chiavari chairs, and stunning florals. The reception was in the same location right after the ceremony. One incredible thing about their reception is that rather than hiring a caterer, Lesia and Daniel – along with their families – cooked all of their wedding food! Not only was it delicious, it was such a special way to add a personal touch. It was such a pleasure to be part of such an elegant, heartfelt day, and to photograph this beautiful couple in love!
