Bride and Groom
Furry Creek Golf Club Wedding. Chantelle and Jon met in Edmonton at a bar. Jon was out for a night with his friends and Chantelle was celebrating her sister’s birthday. Time and place was everything! Not long after, these two connected easily.
The next chapter of their life together started in late February. They had just seen a brutal snowstorm and Jon knew that Chantelle loves the snow. To commemorate a big storm, he had an idea to go out for a late dinner. And after dinner they drove around the city watching more snow fall down slowly. They stopped at a beautiful lookout spot overlooking the city and played in the snow together. Finally on the way home, they dropped off the car to take a short walk near the garden close to their building. Since it was after midnight, no one was around, giving them intimate time together. They climbed a staircase to get a view of the garden and before Chantelle could turn around to see Jon. He was down on one knee. It was an easy yes for her and that was the start of wedding planning.
Furry Creek Golf Club Wedding day
Their beautiful wedding was held at one of the most stunning venues along the Sea-to-Sky Corridor, the Furry Creek Golf and Country Club. We had a chance to photograph a few weddings and sessions in this area such as Sea to Sky Gondola Wedding and absolutely love it.
It was an intimate and romantic ceremony with just close friends and family. Along with such a beautiful location, we got very lucky with the weather for Chantelle and Jon Furry Creek Golf Club Wedding! With all of the smog and the wildfires in the area for the surrounding weeks, it was all gone and cleared away and the mountains around the Howe Sound displayed themselves boldly.
It was a beautiful wedding celebration with a great couple, not to mention their photos turned out amazingly at the Furry Creek Beach.
